Nauvoo: Part 2 of My Excursion to Iowa

There were LOTS of little booth things like this at the Nauvoo visitor's center
Here are a few of the statues also at the visitor's center.

Here's a picture at that was at the visitor's center.

On the trail the saints traveled down to cross the Mississippi, there were lots of signs like this that had the words from some of the sanits' journals. This one mentions one of my distant relatives on it, so I took a picture of it!

Here's me sitting on a wagon that was by the trail I mentioned above.
This is another picture of me but this time I'm by the statue of Brigham Young and Joseph Smith. This statue is at the end of that trail I mentioned (sorry, I forgot the name...) right by the Mississippi river.
The statue again.
This is the shore of the Mississippi River.
More Mississippi.

Long way across, ain't it?

Looking up? the Mississippi

The pretty sunset on the Mississippi!

Looking down? the Mississippi!

The statue of Joseph and Hyrum located in front of the temple. (there's a BEAUTIFUL view of the Mississippi for ya!)

The Nauvoo Temple!

Okay, so that was my first trip to Nauvoo. It was AWESOME!!! Next time I go, I'm gonna have lots of $$$$ and then I'll be able to get better souveniers! Also, I plan to have a bit better camera, so I can take better pictures!
