pretty things

Summer has come, and with it a raging plague of boredom. The other day, I was sitting in the kitchen, bored. As I was staring out the window, I thought about how pretty it was outside. This is the what came of my new-found pastime. I hope you like it, because I sure do. :)

Birds just make me smile, but I can't ever get close enough to get a 

decent picture, so this one made me super happy!

I think the dead stuff around them brings out their bright optimism. :)

Tulips! Who doesn't love these guys?!

 Pink and white and green are so invigorating together, you know what I mean?

This reminds me of  ice cream. 

Why? 

I have no idea whatsoever.

I have this new-found love for the macro setting on my camera. :)
